Most accurate ROTS Obi Wan saber maker?

I'm looking to build one, and I've come across several makers- Korbanth, SaberForge... I know Roman makes a phenomenal saber, buts it's ANH and would need to be modified on the thumb switch and pommel.

Does anyone have any advice? Thanks!

Are you looking for a static hilt or an FX hilt?

Nicksdad offered an amazing static kit. I polished and painted mine recently.

It's not just the thumbswitch and pommel either. ROTS is completely different from the ANH saber.

Another vote for NicksDad for this model, but it's hard to track down as it hasn't been made in a while. There's not a whole lot of options for this particular one out there.

Sorry, I should have been more detailed- I definitely want an FX hilt, to build a neopixel blade.

Hmmmmmm - I'm not even sure there is one available? I don't remember seeing such a thing.

I think MR is the most accurate if I'm not mistaken. It matches with all the references images I have of the screen used prop

Which images do you have? I went through the movie once, and couldn’t find a single saber that matched the MR. But maybe I missed it. And watching BTS stuff, there was so many variations of the Kenobi saber it's unreal.

Huh really? I have pictures I've taken from SW Identities exhibition.
I may need to look at them more closely as well as screen stills.

Korbanth seems to be the consensus then? They're out of stock until April, but that'll give me time to build the electronics.

Roman offered a ROTS fx ready version on his site. I guess he sold out? It’s basically like the master replicas version with chromed pieces, and copper and brass stem.

Ultimate Works/the Pach Store also do one, but also seems sold out for now: NEW AUG 19! Ultimate Works OBI OWR Custom saber

I remember there was a comparison video of Romans, Korbanth (89 Sabers), and the Ultimate Works on Youtube, but I can't find it any more and think the guy might have deleted his channel. However, there are several videos of them indiviually if you just search for Obi Wan Revenge of the Sith Lightsaber.

Yup - Roman posted the last one on Facebook a couple months back, if I'm remembering right.

I agree with you. The hero versions on the Star Wars tours generally match up with the MR version and the efx version.
I’ve seen one tour version that has a chromed pommel and clamp while another one has uncoated aluminum. Either way the emitter appears to be uncoated aluminum. Perhaps the chromed pieces are resin. Also I’m not sure whether any of the heroes actually use copper and brass stems. It looks like the stems are painted, so they could be made of aluminum or resin depending on the saber.

It was likely Shameem, and he did indeed delete his channel.

His conclusion was that the Korbanth is the most accurate one of that bunch, and at least based on that video, I agreed with him. I haven't actually handled one myself though
