Thanks! Yeah , almost there, I tried to complete the tabbard first so now the big headache is gone, the rest will be a lot easier to achieve.

I feel ya man. my headache has just begun.. gauntlet templating.:lol after that it's all down hill. except for the tabi plating.. still haven't figured that part out yet. One thing at a time tho.
Oh yeah what size are your tabi boots? and what size shoe do you wear? Im going to order some tomorrow and I was wondering how they ran size wise.

Just take it slow , youre making great progress on it . Have you thought about using real sheets of metal? Theres many guys here that have used it for their ironman costumes and it looks great plus you dont have to worry about color.
Your everyday shoes should say their size on inches cm and bra. Just get them a little bit bigger than the number on your shoe. But smokes Tabis are completely made of metal though.

i second that. im getting the feeling i should have done something easier, as this is my first build. ever.

Thanks man. The main reason Im making progress is my littlest girl is out of town right now. Lol she will be back next wrrk so im hoping to get the majority of the construction done while i have the extra time. The other is I work from home(graphic design). I have thought of using metal but the cost is too high for my budget (3 kids, 3 dogs, 1 fiance and me the small town graphic designer) if some one commisions one ill do it. I bend metal way better than i do plastic.
You know I was a manager at journeys shoes years ago and I have probably looked at thousands of tags. I just now realized that those measurements were there. Lol
As far as tabi plating goes....that will be a challenge because it has to be comfortable, durable and most of all..look cool as f---.

I trimmed the pornstar from the 80s mustache even more but this is an old picture
From halloween, i need to iron it, wearing it and driving wearing it on halloween got it in bad shape.
I finally ordered a mannequin from a website but turned out they barely have any available and have taken weeks to refund my money...
Will update more once i finish the bracers and shin guards. Im making them from cartboard and Vynil.*

I'm back! I kinda disappeared after the site was hacked a while ago, but here is some progress on my mannequin for the costume, still needs some fake padding for the muscles, he looks skinny. But Im really happy so far, I decided to go for the undead look instead of original because I dont have the funds right now for the face I planned to do, but I will do it sooner or later, here is where he sits so far.

He is still missing the bracers and a few more parts plus I have to find a way to incorporate the kunai, I have to splice two of his fingers and cut off at least an inch from his legs, hes too tall, I have to splice his feet fingers too to make them feet the japanese sandals, other than that a few minor things and he is done. He looks really impressive in person, I'm really happy, I can't wait to FINISH HIM so I can move on to Subzero :lol

When I was Scorpion a couple years back I bought my balaclava from the local camping/outdoor store, and got tabi from jika-tabi.com via Amazon - they have a few different kinds, even tabi sneakers. I got the traditional kind, but they now have some with zip closure instead of the traditional hakaze (gold tabs) which are a PAIN IN THE ***** to fasten if you don't have bird legs.
