Hey everyone! I was fortunate enough to be invited to the Moon Knight premiere here in LA. I’m not personally working on a Moon Knight costume but I knew that others would be! I was pressed for time but here are the photos I could get of the suit!

Feel free to use them as you wish!

Thanks for the pictures. The main costume is just marvelous and seeing all the details upclose make me only appreciate it more. Amazing craftsmanship through and through. The Mr. Knight outfit is pretty cool. I especially love the sneakers that reminds me of some Margiela designs. Super stylish.

Currently working on the Mr Knight suit and Moon Knight afterwards, both are super complicated. Trying to get as many pics of the Truncheon so I can get the Hieroglyphs right. These pics help, thanks.

Woah, the suits are insanely complicated, ngl tho, I would wear those Mr. Knight sneakers on a normal day, the design is amazing!

I've often wondered, do the designers of these superhero outfits ever sit back with a cocktail and a couple of buddies looking at their latest costume and laugh: "Let's the cosplayers make THAT!"
That's the whole reason (in my opinion) these costumes are needlessly over complicated. I actually think it detracts from a lot of the costumes, but it makes it harder for people on Etsy to duplicate their work... Still, lots of makers figure out anyway so...

When costumes were simpler...

... and could actually bought at a store..! ;)

I think the coolness factor comes into play. Now with HD TV the fans must be overwhelmed by fancy detailing, the eye should always be occupied and see new aspects like when you are looking at a masterful painting. I'm always amazed by the simplicity of props and costumes used in older shows. :)

Now, looking closer at the MK costume, I'd say it comes very close to the costumes of the Eternals. I don't know the comics but I could imagine that they will team up at some point. (I know they will but they really fit well together costume-wise. :) )

Thank you so much for sharing the photos!!!
Been debating with myself on putting this one together, it's been a long time since my last superhero costume and it was MK (like 11yrs.). I agree, costumes were simpler (and way easier to replicate) but this new take really looks great and in my opinion even better. A lot of little details like the hieroglyphs and shading built in really makes it pop.

I have actually been impressed by some of the chinese version of the Moon Knight cosplay being produced. Its not accurate what so ever but from far away you may have a hard time noticing. Moon Knight Marc Spector Cosplay Costumes Top Level

Currently working on MCU Mr Knight. Found the fabric used in the suit and the shoes they used. Printing the buttons, just need to get it together and then make the mask. Trying to be as accurate to the show as humanly possible.

After I finish the MCU Mr Knight I may work on MCU Moon Knight. However if Im going to do it Im doing it as accurately as possible. Custom printing the fabrics and hand making the boots.
Could you say what fabric was used in the suit? I figured teh Suit is a custom job...but yeah. Making the Suit should be okayish with getting a tailor, just I need to find the right fabric.

Yeah, I'm thinking along the same lines for the Moon Knight set. The pants are no doubt using the "Marvel Magic" with printing and adding the glyphs, but the base fabric seems to be similar to all the other hero suits we've seen for the past 10-12 yrs. And there's definitely some formed armor underneath that is holding all the wraps in place, plus the requisite CGI...

I always liked his suit look even if it's newer. His original look was a bit too badman like. His suit hardens back to the shadow or the spirit. The hieroglyphics on the buttons I hope to find what it means

Im guessing its not an official licensed product as the Hieroglyphs dont match the actual Scarab in the show
