MonsterMakers paint wont stick :(

Hia Guys

Im just wondering what you think went wrong.

I painted my DB1 today with Monster Makers Latex paint and when i finnished i notised that there was some places the paint had not stuck.
I peeled a bit and all was loose sigh,, so after a whole day painting i have spent 4 h cleaning the mask from the loose paint.

I washed it before i undrecoated it but only with water and the stuff used for cleaning dishes ( not sure what its called )

Does anyone know what went wrong ?

Here you go:

Various causes:
Old casting
Old paint
Incompatability ie. silicone casting, latex won't stick
Paint too watery
Oil on mask

Solutions:
Make/acquire a fresh casting
Use fresh paint
Use same brand paint and latex (for the casting)
Add less water/add more base
Clean mask first

does it not have an adhesive? maybe some pro-saide would do the trick, just add a little bit, or rubber cement

Naw... Monstermakers is already a latex paint

As i understand it you really need to put down the monstermaker paint first or it will never ever stick .

I basecoated 2 other masks today and the paint sticks fine on those .

That makes me belive that i had something on the surface of the DB mask that i could not clean of.
