Calgary Entertainment Expo up here in good ol' Canada. Sadly no questions, I like shooting the **** with the celebs but I know that there are others behind me that have been waiting just as long to meet them and it's not fair. He signed my print and commented on my tattoos and I told him The Thing was one of my all time favourite movies. Super nice guy and I'm sure if I had more time, I could of asked him a hundred questions.

Holy crap, that "The Thing" print is AWESOME.
I happen to see Iron Man 3 last night, and I loved it. I really, really wanted to go for the Ansin, but I had to sit this one out. Sometimes I have to be a responsible adult, and spend my money on other things like food, and bills. (Bah!)
And yeah, Ansin always has a few AP copies he sells through Postersandtoys.com, but they typically sell out just as fast as the Mondo ones.

Could be any number of reasons like the studio has set limits of how many prints they can do or the artist only wants a certain number made. Ultimately they're limited edition prints and by letting anyone who wants one get one, it defeats the purpose of making them limited edition. If somebody really wants one, they'll have to try and get it during a drop or the secondary market.
Tonight, Egyptian Theatre had a screening of Escape from New York with Kurt Russell in attendance. Hopefully there was no Mondo poster release exclusive to the attendees only again.

I think it will be better to wait for the price to drop in the $100 range rather than the current $200+ offered prices. Though it might end up going for even more later on, if no remaining copies will be offered by Mondo.

That was my plan anyways. I wanna wait and see If there is a drop on the site first. It's an awesome print but I won't lose any sleep if I don't get one.
