I thought a lot of you GB fans may like to see this.
When it came time to reproduce an original Terror Dog from Ghostbusters®, Paul Francis needed a way to make a master copy from the original plaster mold. This copy needed to be easy to remove from the mold, and also needed to be able to be cut up to be remolded. The remolded pieces would then be cast in resin to make a limited edition collector's piece.
Paul chose Mold Max 30 to cast into the multi-piece mold to produce a master copy which could then be easily cut apart. Mold Max 30 is a strong, low-viscosity tin silicone which is very reliable and captures excellent detail. It is also very easy to accurately cut, a crucial factor in this project.
