Mold making help needed

I work at a mannequin factory and we do fiberglass castings in a fiberglass mold all the time. I haven't seen plaster in a fiberglass mold- if anything I think the piece would break before the mold- but be careful if its something you are borrowing from work.

We use green soap (I think the technical term is Tincture of Green Soap) and Frekote.

Another good release for plaster is vaseline, but I would do the other two over that.

I don't know if its a good idea to make a plaster cast out of it. Typically flexible molds are used to cast hard objects and hard molds are used to cast flexible objects.

As long as you are sure there are no undercuts, then it shouldn't be a problem, I second the use of dish spam as a release. Brush it in and let it dry
