Modifying latex mask help

I am planning on dressing up as Richard from Hotline Miami for a convention and i need some advice on modifying a premade latex mask. I'd love to build it from scratch but to monetary constraints (and the fact that I've never made a mask before) i am unable to at the moment. I found an affordable mask on Amazon that's similar to what i need but I'd like to modify it to look a bit more like the promotional art for the game.

This is the mask http://www.amazon.com/HMS-Rooster-M...8&qid=1422742151&sr=8-4&keywords=chicken+mask

Id like to change the comb shape a bit as well as adding more flesh to the wattle. Anyone know of a good way to do that?? Any help would be appreciated. I'm at a loss here.

I'm guessing you also didn't get a chance to get this mask: http://www.halloweencostumes.com/deluxe-latex-rooster-mask.html
As for modding the mask, how exactly are you looking to have the waddle and comb? Not sure if you already saw this thread, but this might help: http://www.therpf.com/f62/questions-about-modifying-latex-mask-183342/

Kinda ran into the same issue since it seems like I can't find a decent base for a Ramsus mask or a Jake mask so I might have to try my hand at sculpting. Hope this helps

I actually saw that one but i didnt really like it. I guess its a bit more accurate but i like the realistic feather look of the one i got. I want to basically elongate the comb and add more waddle. Not sure how to go about doing that though. And that thread is actually super helpful thanks! Oh man good luck trying to find a mask for Rasmus. Youre probably better off just sculpting it. I might do that with richards mask eventually so i can have a replica.
