Looking for information on Latex Mask Blood

Hi.

Apologies if in wrong section

I recently acquired a Latex prop...As good looking as it is,i want to add more realistic blood effects with Gelatin look.

Is it possible to buy a kit like this? Or do i have to buy products and mix them? Also if i manage to acquire any of this....Is it possible to remove from mask if mistakes are made?

The prop i bought in question is the Spider Head from the Movie "The Thing 1982"

The picture below is the blood and effects that im looking to add to my own latex mask.....as you may be able to see im looking to cover the head in that gelatine wet look and then add the realistic blood.

Can anyone help me or point me in the direction to ask some professionals on this?

Thank You

you can use Liquitex gloss medium to create a glossy look on latex, and i use tamiya clear red for blood, i use a touch of brown added to it, but it works fresh from the bottle to, other people have used perma blood, but i've never tried that myself, good luck and go easy with the blood effect, build in layers, a little goes a long way

heres a bust i glossed using gloss medium,

Hi thanks for getting back.

Since im from the UK this looks like the only option for blood as Permablood only ships from US.....Which makes it a little expensive for the little that i now need.

So if i bought the Liquitex and Tamiya Clear Red X 27......Would i paint the red blood onto the mask first? Let it kinda set then paint over the Latex prop fully with the Liquitex?

Im attempting to get that real nice gloss finish with realisitc blood effects as best i can for this expensive prop...So i dont want to ruin it.

Im assuming the Gloss doesnt go off yellow in colour as time goes by?

Also.....My latex prop mask is painted well, but id also like to paint on colours myself....Like Darker veins, blood shot eyes etc......Without buying an expensive spray painting set......Which paints can i look into that would paint by hand directly onto a latex mask and stay permanent?

I found some more pictures of the prop that i want to get as realistic to as possible regarding paints/blood and gloss.

I forgot to state im in the UK so looking to buy the paints and gloss from here.

thanks again
