Models we'd like to have seen made

New Upated List of models we'd all like to see be made into full production for all of us:

1. Alexi Leonav from 2010
2. Johnny 5 from Short Circuit
3. Gunstar from The Last Starfighter
4. Project Crossbow from Real Genius
5. The Robot and the Zorgon Ship from Zathura
6. Chromed Naboo Ships from SW:Episode 1
7. Valley Forge and Heuy and Duey from Silent Running
8. Event Horizon ship
9. Whispercraft from 6th Day
10. Any of the craft from Minority Report
11. Blockade Runner from SW:Episode IV
12. Any ship or droid in the Star Wars movies that was on the screen for more then 3 seconds. (The rest of the pod racers, the speeders, the cars that Obi-wan and Anakin were in while chasing the bad guys on Corusant, the Probe Droid, the Diner Waitress bot, Sandcrawler, T-16 Skyhopper, full size versions of those stupid little snap together kits that were prepainted (personally I think those were teh worst idea I've ever seen, I understand the need for snap together kits for younger kids, but come on, these things weren't more then an inch in size.. if you're gonna make a snap kit, make one of the old kits snap together like a R2 or a x-wing, but then make a real good size 1/72 scale version that isn't prepainted and requires gluing for the rest of us), the Trade Federation command ships, the list goes on and on)
13. The ships from Galaxy Quest
14. The classic Dune ships (All of them)
15. APC Robot and the flying bike from Judge Dredd
16. Stargate ships... Destiny, Atlantis, puddle jumper, all of them!
17. All the ships from Farscape... Moya #1
18. All the ships from Flash Gordon the Movie
19. The RLS Legacy from Treasure Planet
20. The Eagle 5 flying Winnebago from Spaceballs, and any of the other ships
21. The Axiom and a bunch of the robots from Wall-E would be cool to build
22. The Prawn Mothership from District 9
23. The Serenity from Firefly
24. All of the ships and vehicles from Avatar
25. the Andromeda Ascendant
26. The Locomotive time machine from BTTF3
27. Cool rock band cover art models (Queen, Journey, Kiss, Asia, Styx, Leppard, etc)

And while I'm at it... why hasn't any company produced a set of studio scale kits yet? I mean, come on... these little kits are alright and all, but it would be great to have some real full size studio scale kits to work on for a change. The closest thing we've gotten to studio scale was the Proshop X-Wing and the Fine Molds 1/72 Falcon. Look at how fast those puppies sold? Hell can't even find many of them any more except on sleaze-bay!

As for the Whispercraft, Fantastic Plastic is re-releasing their 1/72 scale model, with a few upgrades. here is the link
Whispercraft - 1:72 Model Kit by Fantastic Plastic

Missed one lol

I know ships from games aren't fondly thought of at times but a large Ishimura from Dead Space would be a nice one and probably would do well.

I just thought of a new one today... what about the big plane they used in The Expendables? The one with the Santa splatted against the front nose cone? What kind of plane is that? In E2 they got themselves a new plane too... I think those would look awesome.

While I'm at it... why isn't anyone making scale model kits of the OOC American Chopper custom bikes? I would love to have a Black Widow on my shelf!

According to The Internet Movie Plane Database, the plane in The Expendables was a Grumman HU-16 Albatross; in The Expendables 2 it was a Canadair CL-215.

I'm far from being knowledgeable about military aircraft, but there are kits available of each plane that might be useful as a base if you have a way to make custom decals.

Custom decals are easy to make. For anyone that wants to know, get some clear gloss spray paint laquer. Spray a thin layer of it on a sheet of gloss photo paper. Then, design your decal in photoshop, print it up on any printer (test the print first to make sure it's gonna be the right size and adjust size accordingly, making sure your printer settings are set to photo best high quality). When you have a good print, spray over the printed sheet with the gloss clear coat again. Let it dry completely. Viola... instant decal. Cut it, wet it, soak it, slide it off. Use some distilled white vinegar painted on the surface of the model before applying and it will suck the decal into all the curves. The only thing is doesn't do is print up in white... but yo ucan fix that by using white paint in the sections of the decal you want white! It's not that hard. May have to do a tutorial on it someday!

Just thought of a new one... how about the Rabbit robot suit thing from Sucker Punch... that thing looked bad as hell!

How about the flying ships from the new John Carter movie... those looked pretty sweet!

I would agree, I really though those ships were fantastic. I also thought the whole idea of a "walking" city was pretty cool and would make a fun scratch built project as well. I think the little flying bike that Carter is on in the end is my favorite though.

I'm really surprised no one has mentioned this one, especially in 1/350 scale. And the detail it has and even has moving parts. Drum roll please.
