Once again I sally forth to show off the most obscure props imaginable on the RPF. Heh.
First off, a reproduction of one of the sandstone slabs from the Yithian city in Lovecraft's "The Shadow Out of Time". This was my first experience working with foam, and although it has some flaws it didn't come out half bad. The roughly 2' by 2' slab will serve as the backdrop for my Mythos prop collection.
Second, the embroidered patch and lapel pin worn by members of the Miskatonic University Australian expedition from the same story. The patch and pin are resting on MU specimen boxes used during the expedition.
Now that I've covered all the major Miskatonic expeditions I can start tackling the semi-canon ones from stories and source material written after Lovecraft's death.
