Minneapols Molders - I need help quick!

My girlfriend and I are into Geocaching and for some time, she's wanted to send a "travel bug" to Egypt and back - specifically a clear resin (or amber colored) scarab with the travel bug tag embedded inside.

She and I are going to Florida next Tuesday (03/18) and her birthday will be celebrated while we are down there. As surprise gift, I want to take this resin scarb travel bug and plant it with her in a geocache to send it on it's journey. The scarb isn't very large, it's approx 3"x2"x1.5" and I have a solid item that she would like cast. I also have the travel bug tag to embed. The problem is, I've never really molded/cast anything before and I have a very short timeframe to get this done.

Is there someone in the Minneapolis area that can mold and cast this in clear/amber resin by Sunday 03/16? I'm willing to compensate for time and materials. Please post here or PM.

Thanks!

I spoke with her about it and we came to a compromise. I ended up getting a wood-screw eyelet, drilled a pilot hole into it, and then opened the eyelet up with a pliers to attach the dog-tag type travel bug to the scarab.

I'll post a picture later. Tired, doing laundry, have to pack, have to work on Monday, flight leaves Tuesday morning at 6:55 AM, then a 3.5 hour lay over in O'Hare. Ugh.

How did it go? I just heard about this fascinating game. I'm hopefully going to be participating with some friends this Sunday. I've always wanted to do a scavenger hunt type thing, so I'm really excited.

What a blast!!! Geocaching is fun. Sometimes the "treasures" are a little lame, but still fun none-the-less.
