Millennium Chess Table(s) Finished

Hi Philip,
Does it have a Wookiee win mode?

I love the silver vs. black keys and the glyphs used. The finish is gorgeous.

There's a ton of work and descisionmaking in that, and it all paid off. (y)thumbsup

+1 for painted pinstripes

Will you offer these without the electronics? I'd just like to use them as end tables. :)

great googly moogly........that is all kinds of awesome! It's come a long way since I saw it last! :thumbsup

just incredible! I cant imagine the time and patience and skill that it would take to do this.

I am truly an admirer

You did it...you really did it. :eek

That was my question as well. My will be used as just a table, no elctronics neccessary.

Amazing work sir!
And to see it in two different styles is that much more impressive. It looks like it should be on display in a museum.

This is insanely cool.

If you ever do a run, let us know. Even if it didn't have animated lights or if the switches and knobs, etc. were non-functional, this would make a superb coffee table. Esp. with an aluminum top like that, I'd feel safe putting coffee or tea on it. The base looks sturdy too! :thumbsup

Yes, tables will be offered completely sans electronics. In fact, every way I can think to make it less expensive I'm planning to do, ending up with offering the parts as well. I'm trying to get all this sorted out so I can place it in the junkyard right away as I do have to get an initial run done soon.

Hey, that looks very nice!

I like the steampunk version as well. After all, there are many thousands (millions?) of chess boards out there, no doubt, if this was a popular game, there would be many variations.
Now, to make a game that fits on it and is a decent enough strategy game that a droid and a Wookiee could compete, plus engaging enough for a pilot and co-pilot to play on those long flights.

That really turned out beautifully Philip!
