Yep. A lot of great guys and girls. Terrell is still around, but has not been GML for a year or so. He has been keeping himself busy with the FISD and his new house/workshop. Which reminds me ... I have to give him a call tomorrow.

:thumbsup Way to take initiative. I cant wait to see how things turn out. I posted it on therpf facebook. Maybe, it will help gauge more interest or people will be able to see it better.

I don't have a ton of props, but if the timing works out, I'd love to come and see what people have (and maybe costume up myself!!).

Yes, How quickly the Old Fart forgets who helped out! He always remembers the Boy Scout, but never the rest of us!

And for the record, "Meeting Outlander" is over rated!

The dates I'm looking up are in the fall. Open dates are September 3rd, 17th, and 24th. That's just at my hotel. We don't have to have it here and I am scouting other areas if anybody has a preference on where they might want it. Please let me know

Im in Imlay City so every where we have mentioned is close by-- Maybe I could get Bobby C to bring his Batmobile also!!
I may be able to get a couple of Predator friends too.

Ah, you were too busy playing Mr. Mom for your daughter to even show up on time. All you did at the 2007 party was show up late and use your ex-bouncer physique to sweat malingering nerds into paying the $5.00 they'd conveniently forgotten to pay. Here's a picture of Myxlplkt at the 2007 party:

Still getting some pricing options but it's starting to sound like we can get this done for pretty cheap. Don't know if anybody has a food preference but the cheapest would be hamburgers, hot dogs, potato salad, and assorted beverages. They can also offer a cash bar. I can get an even further discount if we allow the hotel to take some pictures for use on their Facebook page if anybody doesn't have an objection to that.

With all the deals you can get at your hotel, that looks like a good option.

As an FYI... the 3rd is Labor Day weekend and Dragon Con. The 24th is the weekend of the Detroit Fanfare convention in Detroit. May or may not affect attendance at the party, but it's information none the less.

Well looks like that narrows it down to the 17th or sometime in October. I don't want to plan it so close to now that I'm scrambling to get things done

I did that one year with a pretty darned good prize and some person that just stopped in won the prize and didnt even know what the heck it was-- they were headed out the door and heard their name being called--

Isnt that the way it went Outlander?? sumthin like that anyway.


Might need some kind of guidelines to qualify for a prize.
