I can't believe how quickly you seem to have put this costume together. Not entirely movie accurate, but a great portrayal of the character. Well done mate, you've done an excellent job in such a short period of time. Love to see what you would come up with if you had twice the time.

hey everyone... got a cast made up of my turtle head...
started to paint it and put the spots on.. i stuffed some foam pieces in to show you guys what it looked like on the suit.. so its a little wonkee looking... i am going to get some flex foam 3 tomorrow and but the cast back in the mold to get a thick head shape... then i am going to start on the eyes... teeth ... and bandana..
also hoping to work on the mechanics of getting the eyes and mouth to move...

hey guys i got a question for everyone.... i wanted to put flex foam 3 from smooth on in my turtle head cast to thicken it up and hold its shape.....buuuttttt they are all out of it at the moment.... does anyone have any ideas what i could but in it to give it more shape and thicken it up with that will be comfortable to wear..???

Hey kryptoboy, I just checked our systems, and we are definitely NOT out of FlexFoamIt III. What state or area are you in? I can direct you to another distributor, or even one that can drop ship right to you.

great build. May i now advice you to take a green spandex over your muscle tones. It will make it look far more realstic and like a skin on top of the muscle tones. Then you can airbrush the spandex to the texture you want. You will be amazed by the ressult.

This is such a cool build. The only ...well "issue" I'm having trouble with here is the anatomy of the arms and legs. More so the arms. The tricep area is divided in two blocks here.

At first glance, the entire thing looks really cool. But if you care at all for those with a taste for detail, watch out for these areas. Correct anatomy is very important, even with TMNT since their structure is based on human anatomy.
Again, it looks fantastic. I think the only area that I believe is really problematic is the triceps. Is the material really hard to work with to get a proper carving?

This is quite an accomplishment. Really impressive. Spandex can help smooth it out like real skin.

if you're gonna do that, can't you then spray the latex over the spandex like they did with the tron siren suits? It was latex sprayed on spandex...So it would be....

muscle suit then spandex then latex....

Would that work?

thanks guys and.. sorry i did not mean that smooth on is out just the place that i get the flex foam from.. but i just ended up getting flex foam 5.... and sorry guys about the arm and leg muscles.. this is my first build of any type of suit... will do a better job next time .. just did not have the time to work on this suit and make everything perfect

Oh no need for apologies brother. This is definitely a great first go around. Really great.
Definitely keep the anatomy thing in mind for a "next time". ;)

i got my flex foam today and it did the trick heads got the look i want... started to put the bandana on and put the eyes in.. still got to put the teeth in and color the eyes..
