Here it is. I modeled it for 3d printing so it may be tricky to unfold.

MiddleFinger, I came across this concept art for Civil War on comicbook.com. What do you think?

Awesome stuff as always, man!

That's awesome Lildo.

I did another unfold for letter sized paper. It's scaled for me at 6'1".

Fantastic! I've been meaning to do a paper unfold for the longest time, but I never got around to it. I'll definitely add this to the first post.

The classifieds section is a better place to ask this question.

Hmm, the helmet looks easy enough to do, but I'm not so sure about the armor....

I'm working on a new file for the Mark 45 right now! Since higher resolution reference photos have been released, it will have all of the right details. So stay tuned for that!

(Note, only texturing and rendering was done. The poly-count was not increased and this is rendered with smooth lighting. The final model will show the correct hard edges such as the ones on the cheeks on the faceplate)

Oh HELL YEAH!!! :cool

Glad you like it! ;)

Hi MiddleFinger

Not sure if anyone has done an A4 paper unfold on your MK45 so I thought I'd have a go at it (my second unfold ever) I'm not clued up on scales so I just guessed the size for the helmet Hope you like it. Can't wait to start building it now :)

If only you had waited until my new helmet is released! It should be done soon though! As for the unfold, definitely not bad for your second attempt. You did a fantastic job organizing all the parts neatly, which is very helpful. The only thing I would do differently, would be to have less pieces. Try to keep them together if you can. Take a look at Sharkmark's Mark III helmet paper unfold, which can be found in Darkside501st's thread. It is undoubtedly the most widely used Mark III helmet, and everyone seems to like/can do the unfold it has. Another thing that would be helpful would be to set the "flat folding lines" threshold to somewhere around a value of 160, which can be found in "other settings". It'll help smooth out the model. But again, you did a really good job! Just a few things that would make it easier for construction.

Here's what I have so far on the helmet! The only thing missing is the groove line in the cheek. The photos currently available don't really do a good job of showing what it looks like, so if anyone could shed some light on that, it would be greatly appreciated.
