MF's Pepakura and 3D Print Iron Man Files

Re: MF's Mk 33 - Silver Centurion and Mk 42 Pepakura Files (Mk 45 Started)

I was almost done the unfold and pepakura crashed! :angry The second unfold went fast as I remembered what I had done before, so there is that...

Anyway here it is! I changed up the colours a bit, 'cause, well, why the hell not? :lol

http://www.4shared.com/file/tkAYE60uba/Mark_45_Version_1.html?

Also, pepakura designer's newest update has a grouping feature, which makes unfolding a lot easier as you can move/rotate one part and the ones you group with it go too, really nice.

Yes! Much better colors! It was just easier to choose from my program's 10 colors that are available haha. But hmm... The link says the file is deleted? Is the old file you posted still the one being linked to?

Apparently so, I guess I forgot to change the link. The things that slip your mind at 2-3 in the morning :rolleyes

Fixed :cool

Re: MF's Mk 33 - Silver Centurion and Mk 42 Pepakura Files (Mk 45 Started)

I've downloaded the Mark 45 helmet unfold. Based on the reference photos I've compared against it, I think you've done a great job! I'll be building the card model this week, it looks like a very straightforward build (which is a nice change), and I'll feed back in a few days. Thanks again. (PS, please continue on and model the whole suit!)

Awesome! I updated the first page. Fantastic work as always :)

Thank you for the kind words! But uhh.... :$ The suit is just way too complex for someone with my skill set. KadzaNeon is working on some really good looking files, and I'm pretty sure he is going to release them, but I could be wrong...

Love your work as always man! I took a very prolonged break from pepakura but may give your MK45 stuff a go. Keep it up!

And fantastic model as always! :D

Thanks! But there's going to be another helmet in need of unfolding coming your way...

Thanks, man! And don't give it a go just yet! Blackout's recent work on his model of the helmet showed me where I had quite a few things that weren't too accurate, so I'll be updating the model by the end of tonight.

Re: Middle Finger's Silver Centurion and Mk 42 Pepakura Files

I would like to know the material you use to shape the iron man. What is the real name of this equipment.

Oooooooh, what could it be?? I'm excited :D

See below :D

I assume you're asking about the program. I use AC3D made from Inivis. It's a very easy to use program and great for beginner modelers.

But! Version 2 of the Mark 45 Helmet is done! I really wasn't happy with the first one, and this one is much, much better. Special thanks to Blackout, since he's the reason I decided to redo this model!

I'll update the first page with the file :)

Awesome work on Mark 45's helm! Keep it up!

By any chances you will be working on the full suit of Mark 45?

Hi all,

I figured I would show you guys my progress on the 45, I worked in paper (as you see) I took par of the foam unfold and edited some lines around and made it applicable to paper again. Thanks again to everyone who put work into these, I'm hoping to get this done by the Premiere. I'll post progress if anyones interested.WP_20150422_014.jpgWP_20150422_013.jpgWP_20150422_012.jpg (here it is next to a MK 3 helmet I modded for a custom I'm making)

The answer to this was a few posts above you! Haha. The mark 45 suit is pretty complex, and I am not suitable for the task. The Centurion armor was relatively basic which is why I was able to complete it (but it also took over a year). KadzaNeon is working on some amazing files, so be sure to check those out!

Awesome! I really love seeing people's work, especially if it's something I designed. I wish you had stated after I made the updated file :unsure But still great work none the less! I'd definitely love to see more progress photos.

Yeah, I actually hadn't even seen the v2 files until I was posting my reply. I'm probably going to start on that soon and update

Anybody interested in a unibeam? I am going to build the 33 and figured I might need one.

That's awesome, man!! If you share this, would it be okay if I hosted it on the front page of this thread with the rest of the Centurion files?
