I will be doing a very limited run of the metal version. but I also plan on casting it and making some plastic ones as well

This is unbelievable.The welds are invisible even before paint. Astounding skill!!
If you dont know about RECASTING since your new to the forum and plan on casting you might want consider reading about it because there are a lot them and they will take your work and claim it as there's and take profit from your sculpt. I'm telling you this because its beautiful and a lot first time builders get screwed.

I got all the major paint work done this weekend! I still have to paint the vents on the side of the helmet. then once that is finished I'm going to make the lenses and lastly the liner.
