Finally got done casting all these trim rings for the magazine bodies. I have a bunch of cleanup to do now. Ended up using the extra resin for Tri Barrel side knobs ill eventually need and some Kalimar lens nubs because they are on the same piece of silicone.
Cleaned up all the mag bodies and got the casting nubs dremeled off the trim pieces and ready for cleanup. I was going to cast it with the bottom slotted trim in place but at this point i might as well machine aluminum ones. They will just look better with polished bottoms. Alot of final sanding to do.

Doesnt look like a big difference but my fingers definetely hurt more then these pictures show .....lol. Got all the mags and trims sanded. Just a few bubbles to fill and sand and i can get them primered. I have the aluminum side trims made but i still need to round the bottoms to fit. Ill make the aluminum slotted bottoms and round the sides next or once i get the barrel ends dremeled and cleaned up.
Mag bodies got their first filling and sanding and a light coat of primer to see where i am at. Trim rings got the same treatment.
Todays day of work got the mag bottoms cut. Still need to do cleanup file work and then sand and polish.

After 800 grit sanding
10 fingers later..... They need a good hot soapy bath to clean the grooves.

The last of the mag parts are all done.
These go in the 4 slots on the sides. Still need to get some Tamiya translucent red to coat them. I used some old clear resin that had gone bad and bubbled when mixed. I thought it gave a neat effect.....and i found a use for expired resin.
Side tubes, Front barrel LEDs and Mag LEDs.
Top Alien Tubes, alien parts and some green LED strips to under the tubes.
Barrel tips with blue LEDs to mimic the propane torch tips
Little doodads that sit on the rear of the receiver.
3 Shells mostly done just need to finish the front barrel areas that needed to be thickened, Trying to finish up the 4th shell.

The 3 were spoken for quite a ways back but its been a minute so i am obviously not going to hold anyone to it. When the guns are ready ill see if they still want them . If not then i'll go from there. The 4th one is for myself because i doubt ill do anymore for a while. I want to do a handfull of Deatomizers and also the MIB2 double barrel pistols next. Deatomizer will be ready to mold by the time these are done and the double barrel is already set to go since it was molded ages ago.
