Medicom Gizmo Hair ?

I have found this gizmo at yourprops, the owner has changed the hair, as you can see the hair are now smooth, my question how he did it maybe with a special comb ?

You should look into hair product. Maybe ask a hairdresser???

Sorry for resurrecting this zombie-thread, but Stoney inspired me to mod my Medicom Gizmo and I thought it might inspire others as well.
Hint: The fur really is the key to screen accuracy on this one.

Thanks Emmet, what kind of color have you used for the nose ?

I prefer using copic markers for coloring. They are permanent, but you can always remove the color entirely with isopropyl alcohol.

You can blend different colors to achieve the effect you want. Copic markers are available in over 200 shades. They're meant to be used for design sketches but I find them useful for other stuff as well.

I used this one for gizmos nose:

COPIC ciao E 04

and went over with this lighter one to set highlights in some areas:

COPIC ciao R 02

I also used these two on Gizmo's lips to give them a realistic look.

The color stays a bit glossy when dry, to me this is perfect for nose and lips.

If the color should bleed onto other areas use a Q tip or similar with isopropyl alcohol to wipe it off.
