MCU Spider-Man Build (SPOILERS)

No offense but is anyone going to actually build the suit.
The person who started this thread, MegaLEGOFilms, is in the middle of building his suit (that is what this thread is about, after all), which is going to take time.

I've been talking with a guy who's seen the movie, he reports that:
The weblines are indeed stitched in, making them look sunken
The spider is embroidered
The black parts are smooth and rubber/leather like in texture
The belt is low profile, but sticks up

Having seen the film as well:

The spider isn't embroidered to my eye. It's raised, yes, but BARELY! It appears to be done with a puff additive in a silk screen ink, since it's slightly domed in the center and less raised on the edges.

There's one good shot of it in the film, so don't blink or you'll miss it. But the sun just hits it right so you can see it's curvature.

The web lines also aren't "stitched" they are sunken, yes, but there's no hint of stitching anywhere in them. (Part of that is due to them using CGI either for the suit or to "clean up" the suit like they do for Iron Man. So until we see the movie suit on display somewhere, we really won't even know where the seams are... because I don't remember seeing any in the movie.

For all the indentation you would have to screen print there is no other way. I am working on having this done having the entire costume screen printed. I think I will still use the rami Base pattern as i can't really see any seams on his costume and I do wonder if it was CGI'd out. I'm seeing it tonight so hopefully I can get a good look

Of course you could puff paint but I don't think it will give the right effect

Just bought a new sweatshirt yesterday in support of my state's soccer team and was pretty interested in the fabric used as the sleeves.

A red textured fabric with some black threading clearly incorporated, gives it a worn look. Also is woven in such a way to give it textured dots throughout, it could work really well for a Spiderman if the raw fabric was found (it's an Adidas sweatshirt so unfortunately it's probably not possible)

Big update! I haven't done much progress on the suit recently since my sewing machine broke, and I was working on a seperate project for a client, but here's where I'm at so far!

TBH having seen the film yesterday I'm not convinced the entire suit isn't CG. I didn't see a single shot of Spidey's costume in the film that didn't look computer generated.

What are you doing for the black stripe? Why didn't you just sew it in with everything else by using faux leather or something?

Well I learned that my sewing machine does not play nice with the faux leather I bought and decided I'm going to use some mixed puff paints instead

the suit can't be entirely CGI, I read an interview with Tom Holland were he talked about wearing the suit for the first time
If it isn't all cgi, then it definitely is mostly cgi. It's so obvious in the scene where his mask is half off.
