the suit can't be entirely CGI, I read an interview with Tom Holland were he talked about wearing the suit for the first time

I think they used a physical suit that they then CGIed over, similar to what was done in the first Iron Man.

I think the reason Spiderman Was mostly CGI is because they got the rights to the character after the filmed most of the scenes in the movie basically the airport fight scene

The head of ILM said that every single shot of spidey's suit in Civil War is 100% CGI. Same with Black Panther.

Judging from the bts it looks like black panthers suit is a real suit gone over with cgi like iron man in iron man 1. So still full cgi but not full cgi if that makes sense.

Judiaanna Makovsky (costume designer) says the suits were practical, but there was some CG help.
She also talks about what sort of fabric Spidey's suit is supposed to be made of, describes it as "high tech cordura"

And is anyone else convinced the Russo Brother's twitter pictures are legit after seeing the movie? You can even see the cord that Peter uses to hide the suit in the ceiling.

I thought how they handled the suit was really interesting. The CG looked great, but still noticeable for majority of the scenes he was in. The only time I was like "okay that's the practical suit" was when he had the mask off, was laying on the ground, and talking to Tony. You could see the muscles weren't so well defined anymore and the fabric wrinkled more.

Updates have just been a bit slower due to school and life stuff. I still intend on finishing the suit

I looked it up and the bumps are inverted with those they aren't the same!
