MCU Spider-Man - 3D Print Files/Pattern - FREE

I'm curious to see how people will address the black banding sections. They look to be of a more rubbery texture from the rest. Perhaps some sort of application similar to puff-paint? Almost like a layer of plastidip, if such a thing exists for fabric?

I was thinking some 2mm EVA foam, sealed and plasti dipped, should look somewhat like rubber, but im sure someone might offer actual rubber parts when there is more reference

The sections are very matte rubbery in the movie, as I remember it. I'd think that strips of stretch pleather possibly with puff paint along the edges, since I seem to remember the edges being slightly raised.

...On my second viewing, I'm hoping I can ignore SOME of the fun to really study this costume better. I realized about halfway through Spidey's appearance that I hadn't even studied the costume on yet. haha

Based on the giant reference picture Timey Wimey posted above, I tried my hand at making a concept of what Spidey's web shooters may look like in full focus. Not that great at doing photoshop art but I hope it helps anyone who may be trying to make the web shooters :)

That file is actually lower res than it's fullest potential (I think) but my internet has been really bad. I'll post a wordless full res version.

Ken, is there possibility to get layerd PSD file with your pattern?
I'm willing to share it here after my adjustments, of course!

As Im a graphic designers I want to play around with colors and details and see what will come out:)

I plan to add a link to the layered file once I get it to a certain point. Right now it's very cluttered and about halfway organized... not to mention it's so large it can only be saved as a .psb.

Hang in there.

Sure thing!
Just wanted to contribute to making this pattern. I really appreciate your work and attitude with sharing your files!

Seems like we have the same system when it comes to creating these files: Just keep throwing layers on top of layers on top of layers until you can't find anything in your layers pallette. Then delete, group, and name things in the hope it gets better. haha

Also, based on my best recollection, the design on the back spider looked like this:

That is a quick, crappy representation, and you should DEFINITELY wait for better reference to appear because that still looks wrong to my eye and I'm tempted to say that the top piece wasn't 3 segments but 1, more like this:

God, I need to see this movie again so I can check! haha There are two good shots of his back and now I want to go back so I don't miss either!

Great work as always, Ken.
