I have one of those plaques, now I will have nothing to place it against on the wall. It's not just the HAL's and consoles that some of us have wasted money on. Roll on e-bay I guess.

I ended buying of these and very happy with it. I plan on putting my framed signed picture and signed plaque next to it. While there is no console it is brilliant and plays clips from 2001 and 2010 and is blue tooth enabled. All in metal

Who produces the HAL in that eBay auction?
No idea but going back to PayPal the sellers name is Paul L. I have his full name but do not want to list that in open forum In case the pitch forks and torches come out lol. I have found over the years here the prop community is pretty tight here and everybody knows everybody’s business. I only suggested it as alternative as I was happy with what I received. Your mileage may vary.

I have an old SD Studios HAL and what’s on eBay isn’t one of those. The speaker grid is completely different.
It does look like a nice alternative!
Yup, you’re screwed. You can only put a case in within six months. Anything longer than that, wave good bye to your money.
Unless you used a credit card and not a debit or balance credit. Check with your card holder. Visa is pretty good with that.
I work disputes with visa and MasterCard and neither of them are good with that, lol. Worth a shot though!
My bank card holder didn’t have a problem with it. I paid 18 months ago and they refunded my card. Every bank is different but that’s why they have my business. The back their customers.
They may have applied a temporary credit at the beginning of the investigation, but that credit can be revoked, unless you’ve received a letter from them saying that your case is closed in your favor.
That is exactly what happened to me. I have received the email from Well Fargo Visa that my investigation result letter is in the mail with their decision but I still have the provisional credit showing on my account balance. Can I assume since the provisional credit is still there that the decision is in my favor? They acknowledged over the phone that they were unable to establish a contact or get a hold of MRG in the 30 day time period? GC
Yes the case was closed in my favor. The credit was permanent.
Hmm, that seems a bit fast. But congrats!
They didn’t respond in 30 days so I won the case.
