I received this email from Indiegogo yesterday. The survey very simply asks if you have received your “perk” or not, which of course the answer is no.

I don’t know if it’s a coincidence this survey is going out now or if they are aware of the issues with MRG.

Following.... I’m one of the 799 backers of the HAL 9000 command console. I even purchased the limited Keir Dullea and Gary Lockwood signed metal plaque to go along with it. I did receive the plaque some time ago but what good is it without the product?

The signing pics were on the main MRG site at one time as they had a signing event a few years ago. The signed Photos before bankruptcy were still available but the plaques sold out the day of the event.

I backed the OLO 3d printer project and I assure you Kickstarter does not pay you back. That was the end of my crowdsourcing days.

Hi All,
I had no idea mrg was filing for bankruptcy. Couple of months ago I bought a 32gb Hal flash drive, it took a long time to ship, when it did, there was 2 drives in the box, a 32 and a 16gb with a note saying sorry for the delay here's a 16gb for free.
It was later I heard stories of pre order money being taken and no goods being shipped. It sounds terrible.
I also pledged to kickstarter for the "In search of Tomorrow" documentary. I hope I don't get caught out. To be fair I immediately got a digital copy of "In search of Darkness" the day after I pledged, I put up a 100 bucks or so (Admiral Kirk Tier).
So fingers crossed.
Sorry for you guys who got stung by MRG.

I preordered the Hal-9000 and e-mail MRG at least once a mont. Never get So much as ********. I’ve asked for a refund but no reply. I order through PayPal. Does anyone know PayPal’s rules on refunding things order over a year ago?

I paid for a HAL in May of last year using Paypal Credit. I gave them a call and explained the situation and they said they would open a dispute with MRG. Guess now I just have to wait and see if they rule in my favor and I get my money refunded. If anyone else paid with Paypal Credit, I suggest you give them a call.
