Thanks to Kevin‘s suggestion and because a year had not passed I have a provisional refund From Wells Fargo. Wells Fargo agreed with the argument because my receipt had two clear details... “ preorder and unfulfilled“ I am sure Visa will have a say but for right now I have the total amount back in my account. Hopefully a small win. Thanks again Kevin it was worth the 1 hour hold time to argue again that the standard 120 days does not apply. GC

Always pay with a credit card. You will be protected. No protection with cash.. You just need to make sure there's buyer protection. Most bigger cards will. Also, you get bonus points to buy more goodies

The 120 days is either from the date of charge or expected date of receipt. I think the longest you have is with visa and it’s about a year and a half. The money on your card is just a provisional credit and it will be removed if MR sends a valid rebuttal. Mind you, valid is a pretty loose term. Disputes are not easy to win. Also make sure you check daily to see if WF requests info from you. You’ll have a specific amount of time to respond or you’ll automatically lose.

Yep tracking I am sure MRG won’t reply but I won’t miss the timelines. Plus my receipt is marked unfulfilled and preorder. MRG won’t be able to argue.

From experience, all the credit card companies want is that smoking gun. Proof with proper documentation. I had the seller reply and they took my money back. But once I sent more proof from AFA, the money wasxback in my account and remained.

Well, I am embarrassed and depressed to say I'm one of the dumb ones. For me, this news came right at the 2 year anniversary of my order. Has anyone been successful getting their money back from that long ago from their CC company? Obviously contacting MR for a refund is useless.

MasterCard gives 45 days. MC is much harder to win than Visa

Hello! As some of you are aware, I recently posted an update on MRG to Facebook and the Indiegogo account. If you haven't seen it, you might want to look it up. I HAVE ALSO ATTACHED THE TEXT TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS E-MAIL> PLEASE SCROLL TO THE BOTTOM IF YOU WANT TO READ IT!

Despite all of my efforts for three years, my partners have finally managed to bankrupt MRG. They filed for Chapter 11 reorganization last week. They are not responding to ANY of my requests for information for the last several months, so I only know what the general public knows.

I spent the last three years of my life fighting/arguing/engaging with powerful, wealthy narcissists to make sure this didn't happen. They had other plans. We did manage to ship many thousands of great products out to customers, so THAT is good. But the future of HAL is unknown. I don't intend to give up and will keep working to do whatever I can to make sure that ALL of the customers who are owed anything will get compensated.

I have no idea what the future of my company is now. I only know that I, my family, and my entire staff have all been unemployed since April. I have no words to express how I feel about this. I am receiving phone and e-mail threats and I understand that people are ticked off, but yipes, guys. Someone also posted all of our personal info on the internet including a google earth map to my home. Good times. This should never have happened and am beyond-frustrated that I spent three years trying to stop something that could not be stopped.
