Master Replicas Enterprise

Hi,
I'm thinking very seriously about buying this... is everyone happy with theirs despite all the flaws? It's a huge purchase to me, and I really don't want to miss out on it.
Also, why does MR charge sales tax online? I always understood that if you were a resident of the state where the retailer was you had to pay it, but they said their policy is to "always charge it"....it's a fairly large amount of money I'd rather not part with.

best,
KK

Worth getting for sure if your a true TOS nut. But don't expect perfection.
Nearly all of them have some imperfection of some kind. But generally they are ones you can "live with", so to speak.
Check the lengthy forum discussion in this forum for all the dirt.
Despite the little nits, it is a stunning creature all lit up.

I got mine through ebay for $979 shipped. It's the LE and overall I'm pretty happy with the model. Mine does have the "heavier than needed" panel lines and the mysterious horizontal smudge on the right nacelle. But it's nothing that other owners have cited.

I sold a deluxe Unobtainium E with all the droops and cracks to partially pay for it.

BUY IT. I love mine. The forum discussion about the various imperfections might put you off. Don't let it. It's a great piece. End of story.

After debating whether I should buy one of these or not I bit the bullet and ordered an LE. It helped that I found one for $850.00 on eBay, brand new no less. The company I ordered from had a couple of them for that price and shortly after I bought one they raised the price, I should have it this week. Despite all the flaws I have read about who knows if this opportunity will ever come again, I am too big a Trek geek to let this pass. Hoping for a good one.

I love mine, it is the highlight of my collection, flaws and all. I would also make sure to pick up one of Rylo's metal deflector dishes, it is phenominal. Depending on the state you live in MR does charge tax in some, so I would go to Ebay. Good luck, I know you will love your big E!

I've got an LE that I bought on ebay for less than $1000 shipped. It is the BEST Enterprise model available! If you are a true, lifelong TOS fan (as I am) you won't be disappointed.

I think Cessnadriver said (or showed) it best. I love mine- no buyers remorse at all- it is spectacular all lit up and the engines are the coup de gras!

Mine maybe forsale if intersted.... $1075 USA shipped to your door.

It is pretty good waethering and panel lines, no major flaws, and any weathering or panel lines is subjective to everyones own taste anyway. MIne a OK, but I have seen some worse, some better.
