Mass Effect 3 Costume/Armor WIP (N7 helmet sculpt)

Looking pretty good so far! keep up the fantastic work!

Have you given any thought as to how you're going to wear it? That was something challenging for us to figure out in our build.

well if you look at the suit in the game, the strapping for the shoulders looks like it would work, where they connect to the neck collar, i would then clip together the front and back torso plates and probably glue some velcro on the inside just to keep it in place. For the forearms theyr actually really snug so it doesnt even require strapping :p almost same with biceps as when i tense its snug but i may have to add some velcro or a tiny bit of padding
havent really thought about the thighs or calves tho :/ but the belt would easily be attached using velcro
at least... i hope... :lol

sorry for the double post but ive been making some slow detailing progress on the helmet sculpt! :D

The perceptive ones of you might notice a cut in the back of the neck of the torso and a cut at the bottom of the ab armor, I had to do some surgery to my pieces because the front was scaled too long and the back was scaled too short... whoops? :p
also those yellow pieces and the last pic is the belt and hip armor, the ones that go around me over the torso armor

probably the last update for the next 4 week seeing as im back at boarding school now, finished the chin detail on the helmet, enjoy!

DISCLAIMER

If you try ro use the clay method i do for helmets and or any other props, USE PROTECTION! this is no joke as you heat thiss stuff to over 100 degrees farenheight usually 150 or 170, this will easily give you horrible 2ndd degree burns. dont believe me? im the poster boy :p
