Ya lol! For example 2 years ago we went as Nuada and Nuala from Hellboy 2 and last year we were a Capt Hook inspired Pirate Capt and the Siren that's my avatar picture. You get lots of Marie Antoinette styles and there is lots of steampunk and some furries as well.....there was a Miss Piggy and Kermit dressed as Sara and Jareth from Labyrinth. Errrrmmmmm......trolls, fairies, demons.......Kabuki tends to be kind of popular. It really is just a giant mashup of fantasy and film costumes. Medieval costumes work as well. This year we might go as Allice and Hatter since I've got those costumes done and would like to reuse them.

I know that there is probably some who don't like to dress major fantasy or who like to have an element of comics or film etc in their costume so I thought I'd share this image:

Just to show that almost any kind of costume is welcome here, even sci fi or superheroes. That pic was from last year and there was even a green lantern there that was just a standardized superhero costume (no steampunk or unique twist) and everyone loved him.
