Mark 17 Heartbreaker Helmet and suit

you will need to have those files printed either by a friend with a printer (thats what I did) or I think people sell a kit of the parts on ebay or (I could print a set for you if you are serious about building one). I followed this forum https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups#!forum/deltabot for a while before I built mine to see what worked and what needed improvements. there are many things that I learned with mine that I can share in detail if you want, just PM me
 
I'm so eagerly awaiting updates to this thread! Parachristo's work is amazing and I can't wait to see more of the Mark 17.:)

Hey guys...
I am Sooooo Sorry to have basically dropped off of the face of the earth!!!! This is always the craziest part of my school year as we trying to get al of my students ready for the film festival that my district has.

I am crazy excited about the 3d print of the helmet!!!! It is so beautiful!!!! I am going to try and jump back on this suit soon. Next week the stressful part of my school year goes away, so with any luck it shouldn't be hard to be able to get back to work

I have pics to update everyone with on the 3D printed helmet. as you can see the quality/resolution of my printer is very low compared to a professional printer like the one shapeways uses. because of this there is still alot of work involved before I can make a mold and casting of it. I am hoping that if I work on it all of tomorrow I can have it ready to mold. I cant wait to make a casting that I can try on, but at the same time I dont want to rush into making a mold if it is not perfect. what do you guys think of it?

I think you are doing a fantastic job! :) The helmet looks amazing... I can't wait to get mine done. ( I haven't seen the movie yet, so please be sure to post references on how it opens)
 
How long you think it going take you to make that helmet (Mark 17) because im Excited to see it and it need to be more detail on the helmet because it look good but it also look a little bit different from Iron man Mark 17 and Thank you for the best work you did and it was amazing with the Iron man Heartbreaker you did and Also This Mark 17 look really Herd to make lol.

good news everyone. I finished the mold of the 3d printed helmet and pulled my first casting from it last night. this was my first time ever making a mold. my biggest concern was if I had the scale right, and lucky for me I did.
