Hate it worse than the "Begins" one. He went from Robocop to Borg... funny I thought his costume was supposed to be bat inspired. Like that they kept the belt (only part of the BB suit I liked) and shortened the cape (for practicality reasons Batman should have to worry about tripping on his overly long ugly cape). That's about it. This ridiculous non-Batman should go well with the God awful looking Joker. I'm not sure how they'll do it, but I'll bet the new Batmobile looks even worse than the tumbler... if that's possible.

It may look busy in a still but I'm sure we'll see very little of it when it's in action in the shadows where it belongs! Looks great! I like how the mask is more of a helmet...now Batman can turn his head!

I dig it. More realistic approach than ye old gray and blue. What works in a comic doesn't work in real life. FYI

I DO think it's over designed, but I still like it.
But for me, at the end of the day, it's the story and the characters that are going to make this movie or break it. The suit is the least of my worries. But that's just me.

But since you mentioned it, the Adam West-era costume worked well for what it was - a fun, campy program and at least the costume was recognizable as Batman. This new costume looks like something that happened if Robocop mated with Tron.
People aren't allowed to have a different opinion without name calling? I think I stated my opinion and stated what I thought were simple and obvious reasons; I didn't attempt to belittle anyone else's opinion or draw ridiculous comparisons.

I for one can't wait to see it in action. Remember when everyone hated the tumbler when they first saw it? Even I was not sure. After seeing it in action I changed my mind. I think alot of people will do the the same with this suit. It still looks like the BATS and it looks like it could really be available in real life and that's what makes Begins such a cool movie.
