Re: Man of Steel pattern & Costume WIP (Puffy Paint Stretch TEst )

How would a metallic muscle suit be able to shine through a blue base material?????

Re: Man of Steel pattern & Costume WIP (Puffy Paint Stretch TEst )

So the silver goes underneath and than the blue is a mesh that goes on top?? That part would make sense.

the suit looks crazyyyyyy! what material did you use for the belt?

So, what's wrong?? The finer mesh is now spot on!! The buckle is not quite as sharp as the actual and maybe a little more stretched horizontally, but that also looks like it might just be out of focus. Overall, yours is fantastic!!

The pic make it look like its darker than your suit. Not sure if I like it that dark anyway.

Remember that when the actual suit is in direct light it tends to change colors. I think you suit is incredible Don. I would fix the cuffs to make them snug around the wrist, and the center buckle has a seam that should not be there. Can't wait to purchase one for you when finalized.

My bad Don, looks like your cuffs are not finished yest and the buckle does have a seam. My apologies.

Seconded. It looks just as blue as yours in sunlight/natural light in the movie. I like it. Again, the buckle shape/size and the color of the blue accents are the only possible improvements I can see. And they are minor.

Re: Man of Steel pattern & Costume WIP (Puffy Paint Stretch TEst )

agree. the pic on the right is more black than blue - and that's not superman.

PS: The cape folding into the suit is a way better design - dunno if you plan on doing that, but it definitely gives a much cleaner look.

this is the best MOS suit ive seen! really really good work! well done mate

Re: Man of Steel pattern & Costume WIP (Puffy Paint Stretch TEst )

Actually they are all the same. lighting plays a big part.

Re: Man of Steel pattern & Costume WIP (Puffy Paint Stretch TEst )

these pics are close ups of the suits are you sure about that, I do know for a fact they made 35 MOS Costumes for the movie that they used, it was in a interview with the designer

Re: Man of Steel pattern & Costume WIP (Puffy Paint Stretch TEst )

The suits colours changed depending on what it was used for. Lights did have a part in it but so did the colour of the fabric
