I never thought of Superman shaving.

They showed it in Lois and Clark. He uses a mirror to reflect his heat vision onto his face (I guess they interpreted it as a laser) and simply burn it off, as no earthly razor could cut Kryptonian hair.

and that right before he takes off, he puts his hand on the ground and all the stones dust etc just start moving, by his sheer awesomeness.

oh boy, im torn.

It was done in smallville too, it's just a way to show the energy/force Supes is mastering to take off and break the sound barrier.

I agree completely with this. DBZ was a good example of showing someone's energy levels by having rocks floating and craters forming when dudes take-off! Also, that horrible end fight in Matrix 3:sick
