One of the shoes I thought was very close was the Jordan 23 Elegante made back in the early 2000's If you can find a pair they have the right look.

Going to try canvas kung fu shoes. They also have a flat heel and look a lot like what is in the original in terms of the semi-squared toe.

Ah nice idea. A slip-on would prob be easiest!

From my searching, these appear to be actual boots! I wonder how difficult it would be to get these on once they are in the suit?

Measurements. I am probably overthinking this, but if we get the measurement wrong it would be hard to correct it. I figured I'd get your opinions on this as well!

Waist measurement. This seems like one that if you measure the wrong location, you can end up with other incorrect measurements since some depend on this. Where exactly should one measure the waist in this case. Would it be where a belt would sit on you if you were wearing regular-cut jeans? Would it be the waist as defined as the area between your rib cage and top of your hip bone (somewhat above the belly button?)

Other measurements like crotch depth, neck-to-waist, and outseam would all be affected which is why I want to make sure I get this right

Another one has to do with height/boot-length/inseam/outseam. Since we will be inserting a shoe, should we take into account the increase height when measuring?

Hey guys, would like to get some ideas as to what shoe you'll be using for the boot. Would a canvas sneaker work? Masked Rider posted a couple of ideas in the other thread, but was hoping some others would chime in. The boot measurement will need to be made according to the length of the shoe, so I want to order a pair pretty soon.

For MoS "accurate" look , there is no actual heel right?

Hmm..... we may need to get some advice from most of spidey fans ..... most of them used AQUA shoes or Kung fu shoes as Madmartigan suggested . U can get a pair on quite low price . Its thin and light and wear comfortable in side the RED boots , and u need to separate the sole and glue it out side the bottom of the RED Boots .

However , my buddy also made me a 3D model and he did really great job on creating the great accurate shoe shape and the sole as well. I will post pics later .

Yes bro ... thats what most ppl used for the inner shoe methods .

Ok about the measurements . Pls take carefully according to every NUMBERS listed out . NOT to worry bro ... as long as u take all exact measurements ... there will be no issue .

ATTENTION TO ALL that received my body measurements Cart .... I NEED EXACT MEASUREMENTS OF YOUR BODY PARTS , Pls take in CM ( Centimeters ) . Do not minus few CM from your actual measurements so that it will become more skin tight ...lol... As me and my tailor already have experience on how stretchy of the chain mail material combined with the body suit , after received your exact measurements , My tailor will less few CM on some parts so that it will fit on your body ... thats important .

Ok .... heres the shoe's 3D Model that my buddy done earlier after he finished the 3D body armor parts . He did really great job on this to create the accurate inner shoe shape and the accurate sole pattern of movie version .

I need to say this that its quite expensive to work this as finished inner shoe cast by P.U rubber and paint the sole in RED . This shoe will be separate in 3 pieces , Front and back shoe cover , and the sole in one piece . The front and back cover can adjust according to your foot length . But the sole piece , its in one piece and the length is currently 12" .

I will need to gather at least few interest to bring this to live ..... and also need to know what size of sole that fits on most ppl .

9-9.5 here. So far looks like we range from 8-12 which is a pretty wide range...

Ok....guys , thanks for letting me know your shoe size , as ive study the shoe size chart , US size from 8 to 13 , the length are between 10 and 11 inches .

I was thinking if i make this shoe , so u just need to advice me the length of your bottom feet , since my buddy made the 3D model and the shoe will be cast in 3 pieces .. the front and back can adjust to fit on your foot . Just the sole that may be abit longer in small size , but i think i might trim off the extra length .

Can u advice your bottom feet length ?

Perhaps you could make the sole like the Dr. Scholl's foot inserts that range in size, so you cut away the length you don't need to fit your size.
