Mal's Pistol Dimensions

So I'm planning a project which... may or may not happen and may or may not be extremely cool when completed.

To get started, I need the dimensions of Mal's Pistol, preferably the Serenity version. I'm looking to gain as much referance as I can. I've been through several threads here and to be honest, I couldn't scrounge up enough, especially in terms of dimensions.

If anybody would be kind enough to share anything at all, I would much appreciate. :cool

There's a thread here about scratchbuilding a Mal pistol that has a lot of that...run a search; I think it's still on the boards.

Yeah I found that one, it has a lot of great info. I'm looking for a few more dimensions though. I'm not very good at extrapolating dimensions from photo's.

I suppose I could post a picture and point out the specific measurements I'm looking for if someone would be willing to break out a ruler for me.

I can get you some measurements from my Sidkit. It's currently in parts being refinished. LMK the parts in question and I'll take them to work and hit em up with the calipers.

I need those dimensions as well as the width of the gun at the sides, on the flat part that serves as a base for all the greebles, if that makes any sense.

Those should help me come up with a way to implement the things I want in my build up.

Shuktuki (I think that's how he spells his name here) posted measurements a while back from his QMx Mal. Not sure if that's some of the ones you've seen but you might be able to find them going through his old posts.

Yeah, I dug those up earlier and they're great for the smaller details but, like I said, I'm terrible at extrapolating. I'm just trying to get some of the base measurments.
