Making a Mask??

I am looking to make a Mask that resembles the one from Dark Horse's 'The Mask' comics.

But i have never made a Mask or prop before in my life!! :eek

I was wandering what the CHEAPEST possible way to make a Mask like that is and with what materials?

I have next to no money so anyone have any suggestions?

The cheapest I would think would be something like paper mache (sp?) with a little bondo over the top.

What are you planning to do with this mask after it is made? Display only, or something to play with? By the way, I have one from the original mold used in the movie.--Wesman

Just for display really, but i've decided to let somone who has knowledge of sculpting to make one for me.

I have a plastic loki mask but need a wooden one, for some reason.

The Loki Masks are all made out of Resin but there are a few wooden ones that arnt screen accurate that used to be going around. But i would reccomend the screen accurate resin replicas.
