Making a Cathar costume

Hello everyone, I am new here. My name is Bill, an avid fan of Star Wars and costuming. I am a member of the 501st Legion, with an approved Imperial Officer and the TIE PILOT. I do have other Imperial costumes in the works, as well as various Rebel - themed costumes and the Mandalorian Merc that I am needing to finish up.

One of the Rebel -themed costumes I am tinkering around with is the Cathar. If any are familiar with them, they are basically a feline bipedal race from the Star Wars universe. There has been one member approved as a Cathar Jedi within the Rebel Legion. However they did it with the standard robes. face make up and a wig.

I would much rather make it more realistic, in nature. I have found a good mask to use (commonly known as the Vincent mask) and some hands that I think would work well. The only thing that has me stumped is the hair. Not sure what kind to use. I'd thought about going with the same stuff that the Wookiee costumers use, but it just doesn't seem right. The hair should look feline, right? Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advanced, all....

How about something along the lines of a CATS wig:

Cute... that is pretty much what that other costumer did. I am really looking to have a lion-esque mask, kind of like how the Wookiee costumers have made their masks... that is to say, I really don't want to paint my face. I'd rather wear a good looking mask fitting of our hobby.

-edit-

I just clicked on the link after I posted a response. Sorry.... I do like that wig, though. Thanks for the link.
