Makeup & Effects Lab Prop Party April 16 N. Hollywood

The plan is that it's much the same as the party you guys had at D&B last month.

The party is not intended to be a show off for our facility, it's just that now we have suffiecient space to throw a party. When I heard that Hollywood Treasures was unable to come to the party in March because they couldn't get permission to shoot there I thought we don't have that problem and thought maybe we could get them to come here for a similar event. HT will be returning in a week or so to do some additional filming to promote us but that is not the intent the day of the party.

Thank s Brian for some needed feedback. We can have drinks available and I can see if I can persuade one of our guys to grill some hamburgers, there would be a nominal charge to cover costs only.

We have several small work tables which can be used for displays and we have 4 or 5 empty shelf units, five shelves high for use as well.

While I am unable to attend, 'Vulcania Volunteers' would have been proud to display some of
our props, replicas & models, as well as some of 'Private Partz' -
my cousin company's - Star Wars & Forbidden Planet replicas.

Perhaps I can get a local collector to display one of the V.V.'s 20,000 Leagues / UnderWaterRifle replicas.

Unfortunately as Don said...we had little time to plan but seeing as the turnout is looking good we hope to make this a yearly event. Better planned and hopefully include industry people who may bring props from their movies to show as well as MEL. We shall see how this all works out.
