hi guys, my name is david and this is my build!

well as title says, this is my first time peping... or third, though i tried paper first, (standard printer paper... :( ) the tried card, and then foam, which i do quite like... all to try and build my first pep to finished piece! well hopefully :s

this is also my first post, but please, im not a moron, perhaps very naive, but im here to learn, and share my build with you all, however, i dont want you to say 'thats nice' for the sake of it, if you do think 'thats nice, but...' please tell me the ...but! all and any imperfections you see! even if you dont know how to fix it, im sure if mentioned, some other kind person will give advice. this may just help myself on something i may have missed.

anyway, i will post images as soon as possible.
see you all soon, and enjoy my build.

so what do you guys think so far?
my idea is to find a way to vacuum form my suit from sheets of plastic from what i have so far...
preparation advice anyone?

Looks good to me. I was going to say that the foam in the neck might not leave you with much flexibility due to the thickness but I guess if you aim to vacuum form you wont be wearing that bit directly? Can't provide any advice on that stage myself but I'll be interested to see how it goes.

The fingers look good as well, did you do much scaling with them at all? Still looking into tackling that part myself at the moment. How have you got them secured?

i have a thin strip of cardboard holding the fingers together and eveything is hot glued together, and as for scaling, just printed the file as it was, just so happened to be a good size.

not quite sure what to do with the neck, ... i might try and have each section drop into the next lower section with magnets holding the top section to the helmet... (i do love it wheni have a good idea on the spot!)
