So I've had the crazy idea to do a Batman and Mad Max cross over costume ever since seeing some fan art. I was pleasantly surprised to see the desert outfit being used in Batman vs Superman and drew a lot of inspiration from it, but it didn't look quite as dirty or used like it would in a Mad Max type of setting. So I threw this together.
I cut my old Rubies Cloony cowl to resemble the one used for the 50's greaser Batman since I'm planning on doing that version eventually too, and since if he was in a desert location Bats would probably be sweating to near death with a full cowl on. added my Arkham style gauntlets, a pair of goggles and an old coat and viola. I was going to go the route of the BvS outfit and use black pants but honestly I think gray looks a lot better, I'm not even sure why they decided to use black when gray would have matched the fabric suit better.
So this begs to question: How would the Dark Knight function in a Mad Max type of world? A world without the city he's sworn to protect? I'm still running the details around in my head but I've got it sort of planned out.
