Macrobinocular nube question

I am gathering parts to build the macros, I though all the small knobs were from seagull a4 cameras, but apparently they are not. I have the seagul knobs for the side and most other donar parts. But what camera do the knobs on top of the kalimar transition box come from. Please

All 4 of the small knobs are from the Kalimar. It used to be thought that the side knobs were from the Seagull, but more recent HD images show them to be Kalimar knobs as well.

It is tough trying to dig up the public photos from the RPF because the threads are so old - can anyone help with that?

Can you send a link for those pics. The only ones I saw were fuzzy and in no way proved that they were not the Seagull knobs on the side. The Seagulls look better as well IMHO.

Thanks

This pic was posted by Teecrooz on one of the big Macro threads. It shows IMO the wide base and thin post of the Kalimar knobs, as well as the extension feature which I don’t believe the Seagull knobs are capable of.

Good call on the “extension” feature, we have both seagull and a couple kalimars here, I think you may be right

Is this an illusion, or are there some sort of rectangular buttons or something, here?

I'm not very good at marking-up pictures, maybe someone else will see what I'm seeing and do a better job.

I've never noticed anything in that area before, so maybe I'm just seeing things.

Maybe this will be interesting for you if you are gathering parts for the build.

Those are definately kalimar, the base is fla and wide. The seagull has a fillet on the base and is thicker. But yeah I agree the seagull knobs look way better. I never thought I would have to buy specialty tool to disassemble vintage cameras.
