I'm curious. Has anyone ever seen machine drawings for the T-800 Endo Arm?

Closest I've seen is those Japanese endo plans that were 1:2 scale from around the time of T2. Not sure if you'd be able to track down an original set. I've seen bootleg sets a few places, but have avoided them.

Thanks, man.

Nobody else...nothin'...Is that it?? :confused

Oooooo, are you planning a run! I dont have any pics or reference though, I dont think i've seen any out there

Well, I've got a full plate right now and won't be taking on anymore runs for a few months, but I am interested in obtaining as much information as possible on this classic piece.

Thanks!

You might look at Elso Lopez's blog:
Elso Craft

He usually has a plan link for all the parts he builds but I'm not seeing it with my quick search. If you can't find it, drop him a line. He's a good dude and can probably help you out.

Yeah, he has some great stuff; amazing work!

But, I'm headed in a slightly different direction. I'm looking for info on the original metal 'grab arm' from the first film. I'll put up some pics later.

Thanks though!

I'm after the info on this Sumbitch!

Since it's gonna be a while before I can tackle the job I figure I'll start fishing for info, now.

Just to make it more "clear" this isn't the grab arm from the first movie..this is the animatronic arm from the second movie where Arnold removes skin from arm in Dysons home!
I believe you are looking for the reference on the arm in the second movie but that was supposed to be remain of the arm in the first movie?! :D (they look different, that's why I ask!)

:)

Nothing wrong with making anything clear at all and it's appreciated.

I'll take info on either or both!

This is just the info gathering phase so there will be a few hundred corrections before the first piece of metal hits the floor. The arm in the photo seems to have a number of cast metal pieces on it while I heard the original arm was all machined. So, it certainly makes sense.

Thanks!

Not working on this exactly, but I am workin on a set of robot arms that would move using probably just about the same methods to get the fingers/wrist to move. Dunno if you're lookin for a fully functioning one or if you know how to make it but after workin on mine and designing it for the last month or so I could get ya well on the way to a fully functioning endo arm. Send me a PM if you're interested (or anyone else, also) and I'll try and get my notes into a coherent form and send them over to ya.

Thanks, but I'm only looking for info on this particular piece.

I'm not concerned with the mechanics at all. That will come with the proper reference.

Thanks, though!
