Those mounts look so cool!

Hey, those scope knobs - hear me out - ARE the knurled section on the ROTJ DL44 Blaster scope.

We are learning more about it, they used one of those knobs, and a slotted countersunk screw (with a cross hatch cut into the face) inside a custom washer for the tip. I wonder if you'd be able to update your model in the future for this!

I molded one of my real scope knobs and have been pouring casts and they cast pretty easily. If you're producing them already for the EE-3.. you've already got part of the other scope too if you want to upgrade it someday

ROTJ Scope - the fake ones

Brand Aluminum DL44 replica in the works... i know everyone is familiar with the Steel replica i do. i decided to offer this in alum and black anodized to save some cost for the mid range builders. This version will be less expensive and already be black . ill post more pictures as soon as i get the frame and other parts back from the anodizer .

For all the Fett EE-3 builds, FieldMarshall has the stock greebs (ESB and RotJ) on his site. I was waiting for an update on the RotJ greebs and just found out they were already up on the site!

Finally finished my Fett RotJ EE3 tonight! Sorry for some for some of the cropping, my phone made duplicates when I posted these on my instagram.

Went and added my own touches to things I'm not quite satisfied with on the real prop. I wanted more color and texture on this like on the ESB EE3: different shades and finishes of black, brass and silver accents, etc. I also wanted to use everything that came with the kit by FieldMarshall.

- The barrel is scratch made and a little oversized; I had to use a package tube to fit over the existing barrel to extend it to length, so it resulted in a girthier barrel and cone. It actually worked out as the barrel extension was also slightly stocky (modified pipe fitting) so the t-tracks filled it out nicely.

- Scope is vintage but the mounting blocks are scratch. I was originally fine with used the other scope rings that typically come with these and planned on using them so I made the blocks to fit those, before the replica scope rings were announced. Some cut up popsicle sticks did the job as chocks.

- I also found the the kit flare gun is pretty loose when assembled so I made a catch out of steel to better secure the flare gun when closed. Many thanks also go to newmagrathea for sending me a pair of extra greebs for this build.
