While scavenging thru my stuff i found several mg42 demilled kits and saw this flash hider... good example of how the old German Mg42 flash hiders were made
I always thought they'd make for a great pug-nosed blaster. Like the SW equivalent of a .38 special undercover or something.

Yep, that's exactly what that is. They're pretty cool looking. That MG81, tho... real?
I'm not sure if I should give you a hard time for working on that instead of the scope or jump for joy to see another flash hider maker!I have a Todd's hider I can loan you for reference if you're interested. I'm not sure how accurate it's considered to be, but it looks right to me (perhaps the knurl isn't quite right though).
Dont worry My Friend Pedro ,,, i use my down time and leap frog thru several projects... im waiting on the bulk of the m19 bodies to get here.... I did get my mirrors and lens for this in today... Hoping they are the right focal lenghts..
Any help and input is appreciated ... send me pic of it..
Yeah, just giving you a hard time. You're obviously a machine! (ist)
There are pics of Todd's flash hider in my DL-44 thread , feel free to PM me if you need measurements or anything (I'm just realizing that as a courtesy to Todd I shouldn't encourage you to copy it directly).
Absolutely, as soon as I mentioned it I realized the conundrum, thus my post above. But thanks for being on your toes! Think before typing, think before typing...actually guys... I wouldn't replicate anything based on Todd's that could be considered recasting here.
