M19 telescope mhr 1942 build

Yikes!

Yeah... not ALL had that plastic insert either. I've had some with just a plain hole and still worked for lighting up the reticle. I imagine it lost any fog and weatherproofing though.

AND,,,,,, the casting volumes went upwards of 10,000 parts.... they want much larger volumes when doing those metals.... or i would have done it trust me.. i am going to use brass on the other parts to help with weathering....

And the 250 would have been what i had to pay that one part in those quantities.... remember these scopes were not cheap even in the 40's
Its and muticavity mold with several gates and inserts... Sorry Guys


hell, 250 is worthwhile for something so accurate! I'd pay that no problem.
