M19 telescope mhr 1942 build

I have never held a masters replica or seen one in person , but several people have pointed out that some are not entirely accurate... There is alot of work left to do on this kit , i am still machining and making several more parts/assemblies, including the Hengstler and the scopes.. Maybe January the body tube assembly parts will be completed. The trigger frame should be soon after ... Ill put the parts in a complete kit and have them available for individual parts too...
LOL I hope it is going to be a fun and challenging project for everyone to build !

Thanks man!

MR is reasonably accurate, but idealized and not entirely accurate in some parts like t-tracks, back cap latch, mag assembly, D-ring assembly etc. Plus it is bare bones missing the cool greeblies like Hengstler counter and cylinders.

Thats what i want to hear !
Scott email me at Chris@warmachineinc.com
ill send you a print

Some of those missing parts are the hardest ones to replicate too. Counter, power cyl mag assembly

MR made a prototype owned by a Rebelscum member, they wanted to make a new variant with these greeblies added to the blaster, but then the company went bust and only the proto remains.

Just for the record, Steve took my unconverted Sterling, added the scope he liked which was mine (and started a bit of talk here on the RPF at the time of it's release), put plastic under the cocking handle slot, and added an aluminum rail and rubber T-track, which was what I had at the time. Measurements were taken, and the factory in China got access to a real Sterling for confirmation of the measurements. That's why you can swap out parts on the MR w/ real steel, like the trigger group (if you make a hole) and the return spring cap (Epoxy it in place as there are no slots on the MR tube). And you can replace the static stock w/ a folding one if you just grind the round-headed pins off the real Sterling, and reuse the round-headed pins from the MR. You can fit a real grip onto the MR, and slide a bolt into it if you want.

There was someone else who initially supplied a rebuilt Sterling, but it was too short and the folding stock didn't line up, so he asked for mine.

I know someone who had his MR stripped down, made the hole for the trigger group and magazine housing, had a machine shop weld those parts onto the MR tube after the Chinese steel parts were removed, and he now has a "functioning" blaster, with a bolt that slams forward and everything.

Just correcting the record, didn't mean a hijack.

These parts you're making are very nice.

Looks nice,, whats it made of?

That is a base MR blaster on which he added a genuine Hengstler painted black and custom cylinders. I asked that member to give me more info long ago, but unfortunately he was hard to reach, had some family issues IIRC and never got back with an answer or more pics.
The thing is we can do much more accurate Stormtrooper blasters these days, but it was cool to see MR taking into consideration upgrading their bare bones E-11. And indeed there were also a few people who upgraded their MR E-11 making it as accurate as possible, using real parts and such

Great info,,,, Im hoping to get a mostly alum kit created.. I will leave the t-track to the guys that already make them they do good work

Mgoob you have been in this for a long time your input is welcome, im fairly new... Have you been to my blog site at warmachinepaintball.com ???
This project really exploded their is so much great stuff to make!!!

thanks for the flash hider im going to put it to good use,,I have to have the originals to reproduce them and there getting scarce!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah it seem they recognized that the fans might want to modify and put real parts on them .

Congrats on the M19, looks fantastic! How much did it set you back?

Indeed it is, wow! Still dying for a metal M19 though nudge nudge. ;)

Do you do the injection molding yourself?

What kind of CNC do you have?

Top notch work as usual, someone asked me if I knew where to get a front barrel piece for their Sterling. I sent them your link, they said "perfection is an understatement regarding the fit and finish". They used it with a CNC'd aluminum reciever tube built exactly to spec of a real sterling.
