M15 Pulse Rifle Display

I'm looking for a display stand for my M15 Pulse rifle. Could be a stand or wall mounted. Nothing expensive. Many of the stands that I have seen are $300+. But, I also don't want to get the Evike plastic stand that's $30.

I was thinking of buying a sheet of metal (like this http://www.mcnichols.com/product/16880022M2?navCode=cc:slot) and then attaching hooks to it. However, I don't have the experience or tools to work with metal.

You could just get a metal pegboard like this...

And attach pegboard hooks to it for your display....

A hundred bucks in used tools and materials can work wonders. There are all kinds of materials available and just about anything can look like metal with the right finish. Just takes a little patience and a willingness to try something new. There really isn't a stand for any amount of cash available that will be as good as the one you dream up yourself. Even if you make a disaster of piece of sheet metal.
