Luna's Ultimate Spider-Man Build, Orhadar Print. [Pic Heavy]

I am new to the RPF and have been interested in having a suite made for myself for a long for a while now. However, there is a lot of information on here that was a bit intimidating for someone like myself, who had no idea where to start which made me almost forget the idea of a suite all together. In saying this, I would like to say thank you for such a detailed post and helping me, and probably many others, find a start. I will certainty be utilizing your tutorial.

You can always ask Orhadar to mod the image of the pattern a little if you want it to look a bit different than Lunamans. :) I didn't want the thigh muscles on mine to be do defined so her changed them for me. :)
Lunaman' s suit is outstanding and inspired me to look into getting a suit again after having given up on doing so years ago.

How did you go about asking Orhadar to edit the pattern; and respectfully so if it is the case, did he have an added fee for editing on top of the original pattern fee?

I just bought an edited pattern from Orhadar not too long ago. All you have to do is send him a PM on TheRPF asking him to make whatever changes to whichever pattern you want. Normally he charges an extra $5 for changes as long as they aren't too big.

Hey just a question about the lycra material itself, how difficult is it to use a touch screen phone with it on?

I read another post that said the phone would respond to the puff paint on the fingers, any truth to this?

My iPhone responds reasonably well when I'm suited up, but sometimes it takes a few repeatings of the motion.

It works with electricity conducting threads.
So sew a fingerprint with such a thread.
It works with every other electricity conducting material too.

I just tried it with latex and puff paint. Both did not work.

Awesome thanks for the heads up

Piecing a suit together yourself like this seems the best way to go. Every other suit on the market is too cheaply made!
Thanks for the guidance in these threads! I can't wait to get my suit all together (I've always wanted one lol)

Right on man, good luck!

As for the touch screen issue, the suit does make it harder to interact with conductive interfaces, but it's still possible to a degree. I'm horrible at texting, but I can at least pick up a phone call.

Here are some more pictures that I think are pretty special. I recently went to visit a children's hospital with Wonder Woman to give out comic books and donated toys.

Jun from "The Comic Bug" set everything up and was spectacular, he's the gentlemen over my shoulder. And Mattel provide toys for the outing.

We met some really great superhero fans, and some of them signed a release so we can share the pictures we took:

It was Nurses week, so we also met a lot of the great staff at the hospital

Thanks to the crew from the Comic Bug for setting up this visit!

That is awesome! Also thank you for such a detailed thread on how you went about creating your suit with Orhardar's pattern. Very inspiring.

That's a wonderful thing you guys did there, really heart whelming and inspiring..

I've seen Orhadar comic pattern so many times since you put such a detailed tutorial for others to make an awesome suit, but Zach, you wear it the best.
You have to perfect built for Spidey, shredded muscular type.
And can't say how much you inspired me and how I love seeing you enjoying wearing this suit, probably more when you make children happy with it, it must been an impossible feel to describe.

In the name of all of us you motivated and inspired, thanks and much props to you, you're an awesome and dedicated person.
From the Spidey dream boy I am, I tip my mask to you.

Dude, thank you so much! That's extremely kind. It's an honor trying to be an ambassador for the character, and it's moments like this that remind you of how much Spidey means to people. :)
Cheers.

Working in a hospital I love hearing stories of ppl coming in to cheer up the kids :D!

Great photos Lunaman great job!

One day i'll have a spiderman outfit and shall endeavour to do something like this also! Though when i stopped at the road traffic accident yesterday to assist I don't know what they would have thought if i'd had one then lol! :p

This is an amazing thread, and you seem like an amazing person. Many thanks for posting such an excellent walkthrough/tutorial for those of us who are new to this whole thing, and also for being such an excellent representative of the character you've chosen to dress as.
