Luna's Ultimate Spider-Man Build, Orhadar Print. [Pic Heavy]

I think it's funny how Calisis is asking the same question I was wondering about haha

I think it's funny how I answered the same question on the previous page and several times throughout the thread and yet people still ask as if I've never explained the location or number of zippers, simply because there's not an easy picture. It's actually quite difficult for me to take a picture of my own back, so I don't have those kind of photos handy. :)

...^That reads as more bristly than I intended it to. I really do think it's humorous, not trying to be snide or anything. :D

Quick Tip for taking pictures of your back:
- Shoot a web at the wall and attach camera
- Attach pull switch web line from trigger to your hand.
- pull on web after turning around.

:D

!!! This is flawless, seriously. And I'm not just saying that because Ultimate Spidey is near and dear to my heart, I promise. Looks like you got peeled right out of the comics.

Good night dear Lunaman,
After seeing his suit Spiderman, have participated in the RPF. Already purchased the file with Orhadar and lenses with Tjack. Let me ask a question please. By reinforcing webs with marker pen micron stitched after you say it will be better to do it before you cut and sew?

Good afternoon!
It would be better to do the bulk of the darkening before the suit is sewn. The only reason I did it after the suit was sewn was because I hadn't thought of it before then! :lol
Having said that, any web enhancement (be it fabric pens or latex or puff paint or whatever) should also be touched up after the suit is sewn together, because one of the benefits of enhancing the webbing is to better hide the seams of the suit. I see a lot of guys who spend hours working on webbing details, then get their suit sewn up and never bother to address the seams. Boggles my mind.

This is a fantastic suit! Ultimate is my favorite incarnation of Spidey and seeing this suit reminds me why. It's really cool to see how you went about making it, and gives me a few ideas for my own project. Cheers!

Thank you very much! I appreciate it. Ultimate is also my favorite incarnation of Spidey, so this project meant a lot to me. :)

Dear friends Lunaman, Orhadar, Tjack and Equinox, thank you very much for the selfless help. After earful of Tjack, I'm trying to post in English using Google Translate, of course.
After the first steps performed (file, lenses) and research to understand 5 "9-6" 1, I measure 1.71 m, therefore I am 5'7 .5 ". Still can not resize it, do not know if you have any specific application and how to do it.'m awaiting response from Orhadar PM.
I'm looking for somewhere to print here in Brazil, so I'll need to know the width of the printed file. He had also read something about 4-way stretch lycra, need to know the exact fabric to be used.
I am also looking for a faceshell to work through the span of the lens (could be a dummy head or have to be faceshell spidey?).
As the seam still find a deserted me.
I have talked to you monitor my progress.

How long did it take you to get the suit ready as soon as you received it from Trophywife? In your case, I suppose that includes, preparing and fitting the eyes, going over the webpattern with a marker and fitting the shoes.

Cool, good luck with your project. The fabric is indeed 4-way stretch lycra, it needs to stretch in both directions to work properly. You don't need to have a faceshell to attach the eyes, but you do need a way to mimic the desired shape and curve of the head for when you apply the lenses--most dummy heads don't have realistic size or proportions, so you'd need to modify a dummy head or make one from scratch. I'm unable to parse what you mean by "seam still find a deserted me," but I hope you find a way to sort out whatever issue is facing you.

I'd say about 3 weeks, but some prep work (like tearing the shoes apart) was done while waiting for the suit to be sewn. I could probably do it a bit faster these days, since some of that time was trying things out and experimenting to find what worked, but I still was really was rushing to complete the suit within the month, since I had an event to go to. I think on a normal (sane) time frame, this would be a 2 month project for somebody working diligently on it in their free time.

Looking sweet dude! Did you sew that TASM2 yourself or did you go with Trophywife again? I've noticed she has collected quite the handful of customers. Either way, like I was trying to say, it looks amazing.

Thanks. No, this suit was a collaboration with one of my friends who is a local seamstress. It's coming along pretty well, there's things I'm unhappy with, things I'm very happy with, but it'll be good to have it completed.
