Thanks for putting all the effort into this. It's tough living up to everyone expectations but I think it looks killer!.

One question.... Are the polished sabers clear anodized or natural aluminum finish?

Re: Luke Skywalker's TLJ «CreepyUncle» Lightsaber - READY TO SHIP

I did e-mail with the order form for those who are on my waiting list.
I'll wait a couple of days before I put the order form here so that those who want to buy are guaranteed to receive their hilt.

Photos so far there is only from the phone (one of them I put in the subject title), because my photographer does not have free time. In a couple of days he will be able to give me time and I will share professional photos.

Re: Luke Skywalker's TLJ «CreepyUncle» Lightsaber - READY TO SHIP

I'm looking forward to seeing photos of the lightsaber posted on here when they have arrived. Does anyone have any decent close ups of the screen used lightsaber just to see how weathered it is?

Thanks for doing this run it looks absolutely fantastic, all your hard work is paying off and I can’t wait to have the hilt in hand.

There was a post a while back on Facebook that Dmitry Shtok (ShtokCustomWorx) was potentially working on a chassis. Are you aware if this is the case?

Also if yourself or anyone in on this run is aware of aware of a way to speed up the aging of the brass to replicate the screen used prop it would be greatly appreciate if you could share your knowledge.

I am not sure if the same method will apply to brass but I aged copper quickly by placing the item in a sealed tuppaware container with 2 x fresh chopped hard boiled eggs (shell off). The copper is not to touch the egg during the aging process. Leave to darken until you are happy with the result (aprox 30 mins)

Contact Dmitri directly to find out more. I do not know if he will make a chassis for sale.
About brass parts: It took a month for them to look like this. I didn't use any kind of chemistery :)

I used Ammonia vapors to age my brass Obi Wan wind vane. I is done the same way as you described with the eggs. Closed container...without the parts touching the liquid. I plan in doing the same when I receive my Creepy Uncle.

Thanks for the responses! Can't wait to see your aged copper and if it works well I'll be following suit :) I messaged Dmity, he will be making a chassis but has not started work yet. There are a number of people messaging me on Facebook offering to design one for me though which I may use in the mean time if I can get one cheap enough.
